She attends special events by the Singles Ministry and the Women’s Ministries and the topic of being single always seems to come up.
“My passion on the topic of being saved and single grew out of wanting to understand, “how do I truly live this saved & single life?” There are times I love being single and most of the time it is really the pits. Numerous conversations on the subject seem to be on the minds of most single Christians I bump into. Topics like, dating, sex, prayer, purpose, service and social pressures tend to be the hottest.
We talk about it at our ministry events and at social events. It’s clear being saved & single is a challenge for many. But, the most important thing I realized is that we are not perfect and we singles need to build up who we are and who we are in Christ first before we can be good to anyone else. It begins there. So I figure, if I’m asking these questions then there are a whole lot of people asking these questions too.
I’m excited about this show Saved & Single because we can finally have a place to talk about all of the issues and joys we face. Being single is not the end of the world and it's not our final destination but while we are here let’s talk about how to deal, where were headed and how we plan to get there.”
